Welcome to the next session in the Pyramid Model Infant-Toddler Training Series, where we are going to learn about promoting positive peer interactions and developing social and friendship skills. In this session, we will talk about strategies for promoting positive peer interactions, how these interactions can be used to help build friendship skills, and why this is important to social-emotional development. We will learn about specific behaviors that young children engage in which are directly related to having friends, and how you can create opportunities throughout your daily routines for children to practice and develop these behaviors.
