Creating a positive and responsive learning environment is essential for guiding children’s behavior and fostering social-emotional development. This course provides educators with six key strategies to support positive behavior while maintaining a nurturing and structured classroom. Participants will learn how to set the stage for positive behavior, use positive guidance as a teaching strategy, and address challenging behaviors effectively.Additionally, the course explores alternatives to traditional discipline methods, such as replacing
time-out with
time-in, and strategies to prevent and stop bullying behaviors among preschoolers. Educators will also learn how to build strong partnerships with families to reinforce positive behavior both at home and in the classroom.By implementing these strategies, educators can create a classroom environment that encourages self-regulation, cooperation, and respectful interactions among young children.
