How to Create a Multicultural Environment in the Early Childhood Program

This two-hour course provides an overview of the importance of the multicultural classroom and what it entails. We will discuss the developmentally appropriate curriculum, how to embed multicultural practices into it, and how to intentionally plan activities to enhance the classroom environment. Additionally, we will explore the variety of materials and items that can be used to promote diversity further in the classroom.
