Child Development Theories CDA 1.3

This course explains what theories are in early education and just a few of the great theories that helped shape the field of early education. In this class, we talk about Piaget, Vygotsky, Erikson, Montessori, and Gardner. Then, after learning about theorists in Early Education, we go into three philosophies of the field.

Even though neither one of these lists is extensive, you will be able to understand the importance of theories and philosophies in early education and how they have shaped our field.
