Cognitive Development refers to children’s increasing ability to think, reason, and understand. Children’s brain develop rapidly during early childhood. They are learning to expand their memories, increase their powers of attention, solve problems, think symbolically, employ logic, predict situations, understand others’ perspectives, and understand cause and effect. This course looks at the following:

  • Learning Throughout the Day
  • Supporting Children’s Content Learning

This course is a level two training course with three hours of credit. It covers Core Content area 1 and CDA Content Area 2.
