Module 2: Focusing on Relationships – Infant and Toddler Training Series

We will start off by talking about something at the center of your relationships with the children in your classroom—attachment. We’ll also talk about the importance of the relationships between you and the families, as well as discuss the influence of culture and its potential challenges and benefits on those relationships. We look for all participants to:

• Understand how attachments and relationships build over time.
• Learn ways to grow relationships with children and families.
• Understand the role of culture and risk factors on relationships.
