Creativity involves generating novel ideas in alternative, previously unimagined ways. It engages curiosity, risk-taking, and imagination. Creative behavior must be original, relevant, fluent (occurs frequently and with ease) and flexible (uses nontraditional approaches) (Isenberg and Jalongo 2010).
